Since I can tie it to my Github repositories through the integration, all I have to do is add a task to the repository, work on it, and close it out by commit.

The weekly time reports help me see where I'm slacking and where I'm overworking, and do a lot to keep my PhD advisor content that I'm working hard and managing my time well. A lot of pomo-timers lock you into a 25/5 minute cycle. This timer allows you to set multiple work/break intervals depending on your preferences. I also appreciate the large number of integrations that help me manage tasks, calendar items and issues. I use the Slack, Github and Google Tasks integrations all the time and I like that I don't have to duplicate information across multiple GTK sites. PomoDoneApp just integrates them into my tasks.

Lastly, the cross-platform versions of this software can't be understated. This is the only one I've found that works (and works well) on all of Linux, MacOS and iOS. There are in some cases too many options for customization, some of which don't necessarily do what you expect. In particular, I'm thinking of the actions when the timer starts and expires.
